Our Commitment

Hygenie.ai is committed to making our website and products accessible to people of all abilities, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and follow the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Conforms” means the content fully meets the accessibility standard. “Partially conforms” means some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard. We are working toward full conformance and regularly audit the site.

What We’ve Done

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading structure for screen readers.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
  • Alt text on meaningful images.
  • Form labels and error messages associated with inputs.
  • Focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Responsive design that works on screen readers, magnifiers, and mobile devices.
  • ARIA attributes where needed for dynamic content.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of the site may not be fully accessible yet. We are actively working to address these areas, including third-party content we embed and legacy components we are updating.

  • Recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
  • Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
